Banned words

Postby fuzzy-rabbit.com » Thu Apr 26, 2007 9:12 pm

The forum scans all new posts for words on our "banned" list. These words are commonly used by spammers. We have tried to limit the banned word list to minimize impact for legitimate users, but its possible that you may try to use a word on the banned list.

If this happens, the forum will let you know that you have used a banned word in your post. You have 3 attempts to post before the forum will automatically ban your account.

If you are banned accidentally, you can use the contact form on the fuzzy-rabbit site to request assistance.

Again we apologize for having to implement these security features, but we don't have any choice if we want to keep the forum alive and clean.

Do we get to know the words?
Or are they just the general four-letter words we should be avoiding anyway?

The words are commonly used by spammers when they post - so standard words like loans, credit, drugs, credit cards, various medication names etc.

You will be able to see the word that triggered the posting block in the warning message that is displayed.
